CHRISTIAN AREA RECYCLING EVANGELICAL SERVICES

Christian Area Recycling Evangelical Services is a division of Charitable Recycling Ink, which is owned and operated by Rosemary Harness Chesser. We are a Christian based company in Louisville, Kentucky. CRI, or Charitable Recycling Ink, has set up a recycling ministry to help churches and other Christian based organizations to raise much needed revenue for the ministry of their choice.

CRI’s partners include WHAS Crusade for Children, Big Brothers Big Sisters in several states, Easter Seals in Kentucky, Mom’s Closet, Harbor House and many others too numerous to mention.

Our recycling program is VERY SIMPLE. There is NEVER ANY COST TO OUR PARTNERS. C.A.R.E.S. will furnish all necessary materials, flyers, brochures and collection and shipping boxes with pre-paid labels attached. When your collection box is full, a pickup can be arranged with a simple phone call to our office or to the carrier whose label is attached to the box. We also have postage pre-paid envelopes that will hold up to 3 or 4 inkjets and can be dropped into any U.S. Postal Mail Box when ready to send.

C.A.R.E.S. will pay $0.50 to $3.00 for each empty recyclable inkjet cartridge and $.50 to $6.00 for each recyclable laser jet toner from computer printers, copy machines, fax machines, etc..

Cartridge prices are subject to change without notice due to market fluctuation. We accept ALLINKJETS. The name brand laser toner cartridges we accept are HP, LEXMARK, DELL, SHARP,PANASONIC, XEROX, PITNEY BOWES, SAMSUNG AND BROTHER. Office Max, Staples, Office Depot,Quill, etc. are NOT name brand.

In the U.S., 86% of all inkjets and laser jet toners are disposed of in landfills in our country and in Third World Countries. It is so simple to collect the recyclable inkjets and laser toners. Just ask the members of your congregation, their friends and family members to start saving their inkjets from their home computer printers. Also, you may ask at your place of employment how they are disposing of their empty laser jet toners. If they are sending them back to the manufacturer, they do not get any credit for them. The manufacturer throws them away when they receive them. The average American home uses (5) inkjets per year. That means there is literally millions of dollars that are being disposed of every day.

CRI feels strongly about the recycling ministry. C.A.R.E.S. is committed to helping support GOD’S WORK. We have been truly blessed. Each church or non-profit organization has total control over the funds they receive from our recycling program, whether it be for mission work, building fund, youth groups, choir, etc.
